On the Hammerli TAC R1 22 the buttstock can be adjusted in its length. Pushing the buttstock latch allows the buttstock to be adjusted to various lengths. To fully separate the adjustable stock from the buffer tube, press the latch till a click noise appears. Then slide off the buttstock to the rear.
